Every Solar Panel used in the Nexgen installation process is made up of photovoltaic (PV) cells. When the sunlight hits the solar panels, the PV cells produce direct current (DC) electricity.

2. POWER IS CONVERTED INTO USABLE ELECTRICITY

Each solar panel system has an inverter. The Inverter converts DC electricity into “Alternating Current” (AC) electricity needed to power your home.

3. ELECTRICITY FLOWS INTO YOUR NET METER

Usable electricity flows from your solar panels into the net meter. The net meter is just like a standard utility meter, but it monitors the electricity that you are drawing from the grid and credits you for the excess electricity that your solar panels are producing and sending into the grid.
